oooo. Exams today weren't that bad. At least chinese proved less of a shocker than usual. I could actually undersatnd some of the stuff :D So i don't think i will fail. But i've been proved wrong before ): English was... Simple... I don't believe they give us 1 hour for 14 simple 1-2 mark questions.
The worse thing is tomorrow. Math and Bio. If they didn't take out history, i would scream and rage. Then i would sit down and revise. All this is really getting under my skin. I realised i haven't gotten off my seat for 4 hours since 6 pm. I even missed Simpsons for this ): GAAA math... Bio is kinda ok. I found a secret weapon. Cheat sheets written by Mr Tham in Espace.
As a proof of my hardworkingness. My temperature has gone up from 36.7 to 38.4 C My brain overheated 2 C in an air conned room. wow. Man the other exams seem cake after tomorrow.
2 down, 6 to go.

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper Gongs sound for the end of the world. The fiery skies draws to a close. Gale winds of fears, Sweep the scorched plains. The wave of time goes inexorably by, Sweeping those in its path into the flames of Eternity. We all march on undaunted.

Whoops! Forgot to post on my Birthday yesterday! YAY I'm 15! ... Now what?
Anyway, my revision is all done i guess. Except chinese :P But people keep telling me i can't revise chinese and i really really want to believe them. But if i fail the paper, which i probably would, i want to feel as if i did my best. And not hang around watching bleach. I'm now just leafing through various subjects of interest. This is my table:
From left: Bio textbook, with chem textbook underneath, history file, chem file, bio file, my GC, physics file, my headphones and a "Spectrum" programme guide (don't ask, i'm lazy to throw :P) and my cube.
Yup. Thats how bad my revision is. I'll be sooo happy when this is over.

There is a tiredness scale.
stage 1 - not tired at all stage 2 - minor loss of motor functions stage 3 - walking into a room and forgetting why stage 4 - mental numbness stage 5 - slurring words stage 6 - hallucinations and paranoia stage 7 - death
I'm somewhere near stage 5. Strange. I slept till 11am today. It must be the trying to study 3 subjects at once.
Quote of the day:
My head feels like there's a Frenchman living in it

Yay! Speech day today. Not very interesting. I just stood at the back for 3 hours letting in the right people, and not letting the wrong people get out. Everyone was gathered in the new AIR CON HALL! No more sweating over exams. Literally :D Speeches, long, boring, and saying nothing. Award ceremonies, i'm not in any, so yawn too. The performance part was nice. The choir was good, so were the dance. the dance song was weird o.O Some remixed techno fairy tale kinda song. And the "interpretive" dancing, was quite frankly, creepy. But nice, considering the hard work put into it.
Exhibition and balloon popping in the concourse!
I got my Birthday present today :D AND ITS A RAZER! OMG ITS WHAT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED! :D:D:D Thanks to: Bernard, Rachel, Ming Yan, Gerlynn, Ji Eun and Yan Ling for it! Its so nice!!!
Razer Krait O:
oooo... Razer! i thought this was a mousepad. Until i felt it and found out it was made of paper. And it had instructions inside XD
Razer on my table. It matches! I think.
Thanks to everyone! Last week to go! 100m stretch. The end is nigh!
PS I promised myself i wouldn't install it till after the exams. Kind of a reward thing :D

YAY. MY BIRTHDAY!
Went to my grandmother's place to celebrate my birthday today. Got a nice big hongbao and a cake! Everyone was there to celebrate.
FIFTEEN!
Celebrated my favourite way. Halo 3 multiplayer
Lengendary edition O:
I love Halo the same way Rachel loves Simple Plan. Weird today. Darren wasn't in form. We played suicide and bull rush XD Suicide is a self invented game mode where the other player has to make the other player commit suicide. Add rocket launchers and you get hours of fun :D Bull rush is one player gets on a Warthog/Ghost/Brute chopper and tries to run over the other player. Other player has to dodge for 2 mins before both parties can use weapons. I suck at this mode, so i'm always the bull :D
Exam revision going as planned, but i lost some time celebrating, so i'll do some work tomorrow. Actually, i did chem, bio and physics so that i can clarify on Monday. But it looks like physics will have to wait ):

As a way to destress during this period, i have taken up emo poetry. Here is one of my better poems.
Cold blackness pools on the brink of my thought Each a gripping vice of pain The clock strikes midnight and darkness engulfs... drenches... drowns... Voices crawl from the abyss screechings that fills a soul with the hatred of a thousand generations each more brutal than the last Ghosts of a happier time Crowded out by the tortures of the present Grinding my bones to dust Which scatters on the wind Fading... A light. The warmth of your hand The comfort of friends pulling me back I open my eyes...
sorry i haven't been blogging for a while. I'm knee deep in revision. I'll post more during the holidays. But until then, i'll use this blog as a sort of revision timetable. Sorry to all my regular readers. But exams are exams. And failure is failure. Go check them out, i found it on Bern's blog. It destresses me :D

I've decided to combine Saturdays and Sundays together, since Sundays are always boring
Bowling on Saturday! We went to the SAFRA bowling alley at Mount Faber. Me, Teck chye, Dao Han, Chong Wei, Jimmy, Mathias and Zhang Yao went. Sadly, NUS High got owned ): We came in 5th i think. But Mathias got the best individual score! We played pretty ok, its just that other schools played better. Especially ACS(I), they go bowling EVERY WEEKEND! Awww, better luck next year!
5th Clementi District Bowling event! Our own reserved place.
Everyone is bowling so fast. They don't even stop to watch their ball. We had about 300 Scouts there. So the public didn't get to play. We could hear them grumbling from behind us :D In the end, ACS(I) won the overall competition.
Went to the arcade later, and played ParaParaParadise. Although it looks easy, its actually pretty hard. I tried a few songs, and made up for my lack of skill by swinging my arms harder. That actually worked until I smacked a Clementi Woods Scout in the face. Still got a A for that song though :D
Mastering Physics is gay as usual. All my other homework done. History, Physics, and Math tests to study for. Exams are 3 weeks away. Damn.

Fridays are Fridays.
Not much today. Ms Sie was in a horribly corny mood today. She told us all such corny jokes, Dylan was like: "Ms Sie, are you a vegetable? Cos you're very corny today." And then, as if to prove the point, Ms Sie said:" I ate cornflakes for breakfast" Lol.
English was even funnier. Someone wrote Sundeep on the board, and under it wrote the reverse, Peednus. Try pronouncing it, i dare ya. So Ms Kong went up to the board and said "whose is this?" And several people said me, then Ms Kong said, "Its mine, not me." How we laughed.
I promise a longer post tommorow. There's a Troop Bowling competition in Mount Faber SAFRA, and i'm expected to attend. Wish me luck!

6:31 AM
Whoops, forgot to post yesterday.
Anyway Wednesday was quite interesting. Chem test first, which turned out to surprisingly easy. I got 24/30 :D And then we went to the auditorium, where we got a talk about relieving stress by the Singapore Broadway Association. Those guys are bloody funny. And the guy who was supposed to be depressed, was so emo, i thought he was going to start cutting himself. Their props were so funny. This is supposed to be the guy sleeping in bed emoing about stuff, while his "friends" echo his thoughts.
WTF are you doing in my bed? Lolz
Moot Parliament is getting from bad to worse -o- Its like we're not even a team anymore, Winston keeps going off somewhere, Yeow is doing math file, Tian Lu is doing who knows what and Bernard is doing math file too. Gah, it feels like i'm the only one doing something...
Spent the rest of MPP practising. I can do a crab now!
Damn it my eyes are closed.
Nothing much else, except for the looming threat of exams. English quiz/letter/homework to do. Bye!

I've realised that every single day in my life can't be exciting.
And so should you.
Chem test tmr. Good luck everyone. And thanks to Rachel, for lending me her math file.

4:02 AM
EXAMS ARE COMING.
I feel the pressure already. Time is ticking. I may not have enough time to blog long posts of the great quality you're used to :D
Monday again. I have just realised that i will probably have to go back for physics remedial. My mouth is starting to drop in class when Ms Fong starts writing. O: It doesn't help that Xiang Wen keeps looking over my shoulder saying "I dun geddit" even though his physics is better than mine...
Bernard gave us a SNEAK PREVIEW of his 1337 cooking skillz today! He baked a chocolate cake :O Not bad, needed more chocolate and less butter. Great job Bernard!
Chinese was... Fun. OMG I DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT...
Ok rephrase that. Chinese PERIOD is fun without CHINESE
Ms Mai didn't come today. Probably got a heart attack after marking our chinese tests :\
So we did a small 15 min xie zi exercise, and the relief teacher left. Learnt Yu Gi Oh from Yuan Wei, watched them argue about soccer. And mostly did math file and play handphone games. With Dylan cracking jokes in the background, it was better than expected from chinese.
Bio was boring today. Sawed a tennis ball in half for fun. Have you ever wondered what was inside a tennis ball? I did.
Dissection :D not very interesting...
Got history quiz and english letter writing tmr. Chem test and Math file check on Wednesday. AHHHHHHHHH.

13th post o.O
Sundays have little material. Nothing much today. Found a donut at MunchyDonuts that is called the "Simpsons Donut"
Lol. It tastes great too.
Spotted something in the mall today. On a small folding stool, $5.99
Made in China of course.
6 year old B-Boy. Owned the open section of a breakdance competition. He's out doing all the 30 year olds who come in and challenge him! Will probably gain inspiration from him.

6:49 AM
Scouts mostly for today.
It was a glorious day. We were going to attempt to build the biggest structure ever attempted in NUS High's history. I was the project In Charge and i had planned and designed the structure for weeks now. As pioneering goes, its never easy. You can draw a straight line on paper, but in real life it may be slanted. On paper you can just erase it and draw a new one, but in real life you have to correct it for tension and strain. Needless to say, it was a lot of hard work.
Building the frame... Attaching guidelines to hoist it up later.
Frame fully erected! No pun intended.
Building platforms for observation, scouting and mapmaking.
Epic shot with hostel in the background. Halfway there!
Due to time constraints, we had to end it off in the middle. No map making platform. But still looks pretty good.
The entire thing was 30 feet tall, which is 10m, which is over 2 overhead bridges. In the end, people made excuses to go off and stuff, and it was left with me, Chong Wei, Pan Cheun, Clement, Zhang Yao and Chee Guan. And then diaster struck.
The estate department came. NO NO NO. CANNOT BUILD HERE.
"why?"
NO NO NO. CANNOT BUILD HERE.
"Dude, start making sense."
BECAUSE YOU CANNOT BUILD WITHOUT PERMIT.
In the end, it turned out that Ms Loh, our CCA teacher, didn't get a permit from the school to build the structure on the field. We told her, but it seems she forgot and we assumed she got a permit and we built it anyway. So the bottom line was: Tear it down.
OMG tear it down?! It took 6 hours of hard, back-breaking work in the baking sun, and TEAR IT DOWN? sigh. In the end we had too. So you won't see it on Monday...
But at least one thing brightened my day. Our year 1s passed outdoor cooking with real fire :D

6:14 AM
YAY. Today is a HAPPY DAY.
Free period today. Everyone was tuning up their physics projects for the final test, making final adjustments here and there. Our project was already quite solid, unless we touched it. Other than that, the equations wouldn't lie. And they didn't :D
Our physics project OWNED. We got a BULLSEYE! And the other one was like 3cm away from the bullseye! But We didn't really have an aiming system, more of guess and check, so Ms Fong marked us down for that ): But overall we got 63/80! 78% ITS AN "A"!!!!!!!! My physics is gonna own this sem :D
Oh and Bernard made art today. Abstract form, type: Milo, medium: Wen Xiang.
Scouts today was boring. It was more of an equipment check for tomorrow's pioneering (building big structures made of wood held together by rope in 5 hours for no other reason than for fun). We just sat there and whipped rope. But luckly, the NCC entertained us! They had outdoor cooking today, and if you know NCC, their outdoor cooking is, well, rather funny. But their cooking turned out to be really good. Their Part As (Year 1s) were cooking on solid fuel, no excitement there. But the Part Cs (Year 3s) were attempting real firewood! They did much better than i thought. But it drizzled, so they moved in, which for solid fuel makes no difference.
Why are you fanning solid fuel? Its not like its gonna go out o.O
Don't get me wrong, i think the NCC are a great bunch of guys, its just that this is like Scouts doing drill. We all gotta laugh at ourselves once in a while right? Anyway, weekend homework + pioneering tomorrow = do work today. Sigh

PE was sooo fun today!
We did Chaptek as our new sport. It sounds kinda stupid, but its actually much harder than you think. My personal best was 12, after a gazillion tries. Aik Ann was the best, with 47 in one go! And he kicked all the way from the concourse to the bio labs :D Ka Shing was really funny. He kept kicking back to our PE teacher. After PE i was sweating like crazy. Then, me, Bernard, Wen Xiang, Raghav, Sandeep, Dylan and Stuart made a circle and started playing, our record was 14! Oh and i kicked a chaptek into a benzene ring on the concourse ceiling. Moving on...
nothing else much today, unless you count doing breakdancing while Mrs Soong was teaching a supplementary class.

10:38 PM
YAY! I leveled up. Now i'm a BLUE BELT at Hapkido. Extremely tired, the test took 3 hours. now its only 3 more ranks to Black!
In other news, i'm panicking. Cos the 1st Dan Adult Black Belt for Taekwondo is in 2 months time. I'm Advanced Junior Black now, cos i was only 14 last year. Oh noes. Got so much to do and learn, its like the Chuunin exam ): May have to go every Wednesday and Friday ):
Not much today, so this will be a short post. Today was MAD. Music Appreciation Day. Sat us in the Audi for 1 and a half hours. And 1 hour of that was SPEECHES. And one of the speeches was more of a lecture, like Year 2 Physics. AHHH why are all Singaporean speakers so boringggggg. The conservatory peoples' performance was nice, especially the guy on the drums. And Dr Wong playing the violin like an electric guitar :D And the best performance goes to... the Music Ambassadors! They managed to say their pledge wrongly :D How can you screw up clicking forward on a powerpoint? Ownage.
Oh and Chong Wei managed to keep me waiting for 2 hours until 5pm for a non existant scout meeting. Thanks a lot.
Really tired. And got PE tmr!!!!!! ): Gotta sleep. Bye!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YAN LING.
Tired today. So I won't post.
APRIL FOOLS.
I'm posting everyday. You can count on that.
We gave Yan Ling her present today! Ming Yan kinda spoiled it by telling her where we hid it. But she looked quite happy today, and was like "SO CUTE" and hugging it. I will never understand why girls like overstuffed baby cartoon characters with creepy staring eyes. Oh and Michael did the best thing today. He baked COOKIES! And not just any ordinary cookies. They're FROM HEAVEN. It tastes so nice, he should sell them! Michael claimed that it took him 5 batches to get the recipe right. Way to go Michael! And he also added a nice lettering on it.
There's light reflecting, so it says "Happy Bday Yan Ling"
Chinese test was gay. Nuff said.
History Project OWNED! We were like the best group EVAR. And Ms Chua said that our idea was so creative and we OWNED. A++++++ at least! It was at least better than that other group, they just did a black slideshow with NO MUSIC. Gawd, whats the point of a video with no music? Mary's group's concept was interesting, but the audio was a bit messed up. Couldn't hear a thing.
Oh and we had a mascot during history, Ming Yan's Eeyore!
I dun get why Eeyore is so popular these days, the real eeyore isn't even blue. He's just a sad, depressed old donkey to me.
Anyway gotta churn out a report for Moot Parliament tmr. Bye!
