Day 3
We landed in Vancouver. After getting over our Jet lag for the time being, we went to explore Vancouver by ourselves. We went to rent 4 bicycles and went to ride in Stanley Park. Its the largest park in Vancouver and has really breathtaking sights. Mistake. The air outside the city, is only survivable by polar bears and the local hobo population. It is so cold, that you get iced water in your backpack. Combine that with riding against the wind, and you have a temperature of about -4 degrees C. By the end of the trip, my hands were frozen on the bike handles.
But even so, we saw great sights along the trip.
Vancouver (:
Native American carved totem poles, salvaged from the early 19th century. Each totem pole is supposed to tell a story, but to me, it looks like all the deprived animals decided to get together. In a very personal way.
The Lion Gate bridge. It links Stanley park to Vancouver city. Stanley park is actually an island that no one is allowed to have commerce on. This keeps it pollution free and green. This bridge is 600m long and reaches 7 storeys in height.
And of course, the Maple Tree. Canada's national pride, and Maplestory's mascot.
Later, we went to the aquarium. In Stanley Park. There is actually a huge aquarium in Stanley park. The place is really big, about the size of Singapore Science Center. Its actually a really good place, especially in America, because unlike Singapore, it only get minimum funding from the government. The rest of it comes from donors.

After the aquarium, we headed to town and found that parking cost around 8 dollars for 2 hours O: and also hobos could identify us as tourists, which in any country, is bad. I also discovered a use for chinese, saying things without any one knowing. :D We all had dinner before collasping on the bed at 7pm, cos of jet lag. I woke up at 11.30pm and took this pic

Sorry, but i can't do the whole Alaska Travel-log right now. I'm swamped with last minute tasks from scouts, school and TaeKwon Do at the same time. With school opening in two days, the earliest i can promise is Tuesday. Check back then!

I'm back from the dead.
For those of you who don't know, i was in Alaska on vacation. I took a 19 day tour of Alaska, Canada, and Seattle. I'll be posting on a day by day basis throughout the next 19 days as a travel log of what i did on the trip. Tell your friends!
Here's a starter:
Jet lagged like crazy now. 15 hours difference XP I'll take a while to recover.
I'm gonna sleep now, even though its like 10 am.
