Day 1.
Our flight was from the brand new Terminal 3 of Changi Airport. Its building design was awesome. But it feels more like a mall than really an airport. You see more people with shopping bags than with lugagge.

Oh and Terminal 3 had the new biometric passport system, which is completely automatic. We were quite impressed when we got through customs in 10 mins, instead of the usual 40 mins. But my mom got stuck in the system cos the machine couldn't read her fingerprints, and had to get manually checked. It turned out that she was pressing too hard on the glass.

My mom's the one at the desk. Her elbow's is up so high its pressing down like crazy.
Airplane ride was uneventful. It was a red eye flight from singapore to seoul Korea. A 6 hour flight to Korea, followed by a 12 hour flight across the Pacific Ocean to Vancouver. The flight was pretty fun. I watched Iron Man 4 times XD and the guy beside me played territory war with me. Cos there was two of us and only 1 armrest :D Everytime he turned the page of his newspaper, i would sneakily slip my arm onto the armrest and he couldn't use it. Then my sis woud do something stupid. Then i would lift my arm and he would quickly put his arm there. Oh and i tried to order a Singapore Sling cocktail on the plane, and the steward was like "Uhh.. Sure" Then my sis HAD to open her mouth and say "But he's only 15!" and the steward said "maybe next time kiddo" GAHH. stupid sister.
Day 2.
We reached Vancouver Canada at 12.22 pm, 29 May. Bearing in mind that we left Singapore at 8am 29 May. We crossed the international date line, meaning we went back 1 day. 22,000 km in 18 hours. Of course, that meant massive jet lag. Which i have. -.o When we got out of the airport, the cold was unbelievable. It doesn't creep upon you like the heat of Singapore, its just wham, like you walked into a solid wall of cold. We specially came at the height of Canada's summer to escape the cold. The heat reached skin boiling temperatures of 9 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. If you're reading this in your air conned room, its 3 times colder here =P Also the air here is super dry. That means your skin cracks, which is really painful. I already have a few cracks in
various places. -.^ we went to the hotel and crashed even though it was 3 in the afternoon. Jet Lag.

Wow. I've realised i haven't posted in a long time. woah.
I'm now an internationally recognized senior black belt in TaeKwonDo! I took the test on Vesak Day on the 19th of May. It was 7 hours of HELL. The physical exercise got me aching all over. I did, 1000 push ups, 1000 situps, and 30 minutes of continuous skipping. That and 16 more items. But in the end, I got my reward. :D My name on the list of honor and on a black belt.
Before that, we went to a campfire at Singapore Chinese Girls School. As part of a effort to get NUS High's name to be recognized around the island, we were obliged to attend. And we were the only boys in there with SJI and RI. The RI boys were a joke. Running out and embarrassing themselves in front of the guest of honor. Damn, those guys were drunk or something. SCGS pulled of a pretty good campfire. Their theme was... questionable. But the rest was solid, and didn't suffer from any problems. I enjoyed it, save for the very immature remarks from Teck Chye and Dao Han, who both have to really grow up. But the games and everything was so sexist! The girls won all the time -.- even though the boys sometimes were better, the MCs always let the girls win. And when we complained, they asked us to be gentlemanly. Why bother to have a game when you know who the winner is? But I managed to win a game out of 4. It was a water drinking contest :D But other than that, the MCs were girls, the items were performed by girls and the campfire was done by girls. We just had to watch lolz.

Igniting the fire!
All girls o.O Anyway their theme was a Sea kinda theme, so the MCs were in sailor suits.
Today we did costal clean up as part of our CIP programme. More like an excuse to get us out of the school while the SIMC goes on. -.- Dr Hang was on 6.30 chinese news today btw. You won't believe the kind of trash you'll find on the beach. Kallang river was full of strange stuff. We found: A dead sea snake kinda thing, an empty Olay facial whitening cream bottle, 4 condoms and a construction worker's helmet o.O The place smells like rotten eggs doused in sweat socks and set alight.
After that, we all went to a nearby hawker centre to try the chocolate fondue there. Bernard says it gives you wings. I think his fondue got spiked with LSD :D Zi Yang, Winston, Elijah and Bing Jie tagged along for no good reason. But Bernard was right, it was good.

The whole set! The chocolate looks good. :P
Rachel dipping the waffle into chocolate while Bernard is drinking.
Tommorow is the sandcastle building at East Coast Park, so i bet it'll be pretty interesting. Until then, i shall end this post off on a random note.

All hail the mighty
SPORK. The very awkward offspring of two very drunk cutlery. Found at Taka.

Lol. Long weekend. Long post.
The end of exams marked the new beginning. Straight after that we went to IMM. Bernard, Rachel, Ming Yan and I. We roamed around the place a bit, having no idea what to give Ji Eun, cos her birthday was during the exams. So we went to the Body shop, cos Rachel thinks she would like it. The Body shop is the type of shop which you smell before you see it. Like Famous Amos. Anyway, we went inside, and I having never been inside before, started touching stuff. And I found that a carrier bag in there cost $12 o.O Wow. We bought her a nice box of soaps and perfume but I thought they smelled rly strong. I had a headache when i came out.
Hellgate has been proving a great game. I'm a level 12 marksman now. I found a perfect combo of weapons to make sure any monster is dead within 10m of me. Hellgate is owning, except for some random hiccups from a 1.6 GHz com.
We celebrated on Tuesday, as Ming Yan had her last paper in Tuesday due to her being sick for the first 2 days. As Ming Yan couldn't make it in the morning, and Yan Ling was being lazy, and Ji Eun woke up late. Wow. So in the end only Bernard, Rachel and I went bowling at the country club at Bukit Batok. I played a fair game, could have been better, but in the end i lost to bernard by 23 points, having 233 after 3 games.
Rachel's super mana shot :O

Bernard super speed shot. He's a blur even for a Sony Ericson phone lolz.
Rachel ran out of mana at the end. XD and according to her, we were all Bowling for Soup. o.O
And on that day, the "White Shirt, Black Pants Stalkers" came out into open. They stalked me. From my house bus stop, to clementi MRT, to Jurong East MRT, to Bukit Batok MRT, to West Mall and even the bowling alley. OMG. THEY ARE STALKING ME. In groups of 4 to 5, they follow me around the island. Even at Vivocity and the Iron Man movie. Wow. Keep looking over your shoulder...
After that we went to see Iron Man. :D This is the best movie i've seen in the year. Iron man owns. I even got a cool Iron Man figure from the popcorn XD

Its kinda blur. o.O
Oh and Tae Kwon Do is seriously exhausting me. I'm going 3 times a week now, for like 3 hours each. Phew. But at the end, an Internationally recognized Senior Black Belt. Wow.

YAY EXAMS ARE OVERRRRRRRRRRR.
Long post *cracks knuckles*
Finally. I thought it was never going to end. The Math and Bio papers were kinda ok. I expected them to be much harder, what with Ms Sie's dark attitude towards us. "You're not going to leave this place alive" was the kinda cheerful encouraging message she gave us. Yup. Oh and Bio was like guaranteed to be hard. But luckily its all those memorize and vomit questions, which were very unlike earlier Bio exams.
Physics and Chem was... Cold. Seriously. I was sitting right under the air con. And at the end i was shivering, even under the jacket and long pants. I pity Ming Yan, she didn't bring a jacket and girls can't wear long pants. I offered her my jacket. But she refused. Well, can't blame me.
Chem is seriously getting harder. The questions came completely out of nowhere. It was really unlike the previous tests and quizzes. Gahh. And here i thought i would ace chem. Damn.
But History is the complete opposite. All the questions for the exam were like done in class. It was more of memorizing then actually thinking. The Application question was even given for an assignment. Which i completely failed. Oh well.
Oh and labour day was a very strange day. My family went to McDonalds to have breakfast. And when we got there, the place was like, the Russian Revolution.
Thats like, 15 people deep, with people queuing on the stairs even o.O If you look closely, you can see my mom in the top left hand corner looking like, "Where did Ernest go?" . I slipped away to take this picture and then went back to help with the trays. Lol i imagined at 11am, the McDonalds staff are going to stand on the counter and say "Breakfast is closed!" And all the people waiting in the lines will start the Singapore Revolution. History repeats itself, especially with revolutions.
Oh and I managed to install Hellgate London. Thanks Qu Zhi! So i guess i'll be playing for a bit. Marksman ftw.
Oh and on a random note. This bus again. It keeps following me.
The bar bus. 151A
I will miss emo poetry.
